Wednesday, June 22, 2022, the Mississippi Department of Employment Security & the Governor's Job Fair Network of Mississippi are hosting the 2022 Mississippi Re-Entry Job Fair from 9am to 1pm.
The Hinds County Re-Entry Program is hosting a Recruitment Expo Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. The Recruitment Expo will be a fun interactive way for citizens to learn about and apply for the Re-Entry Program.
The Pearl River is expected to crest at 38 feet by Sunday, February 16, 2020. Residents in areas of Northeast Jackson are urged to activate their evacuation plans immediately.
In anticipation of the Pearl River cresting at record levels in the following days, Hinds County is declaring a State of Emergency under the direction of Emergency Management Director, Ricky Moore. All are residents in anticipated flood areas are urged to prepare for a possible evacuation.
