All county offices will be closed for Christmas on Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Friday, December 26, 2025. Additionally, the county will be closed for New Year's Day 🎉 on Thursday, January 1, 2026, and Friday, January 2, 2026. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.
The Hinds County Board of Supervisors Annual Veterans' Day Wreath laying Ceremony will be held on November 11, 2025.
The ceremony will take place on the front lawn of the Hinds County Circuit Courthouse at 9:00 AM

On Monday, 26 May 2025, at 9:30 a.m., Hinds County will hold a Memorial Day Service honoring military hero of Hinds County, who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The program will be held in the Hinds County Board of Supervisors' Boardroom at the Hinds County Chancery courthouse.
